guess I already told you most of the story. Okay, there is more. It is transparent green with carved top, Tiger Maple, ebony fretboard, EMG pickups, Tele shaped body. I was playing weekly with a group of guys after not having played much for a number of years. I improved my kit and my sound with the Guild (1979 S70D) but I just wanted something else. I looked at a lot of guitars in a lot of places. This one was hanging in the corner of Buzzo's crowded guitar display for quite a few years. I had noticed it but somehow I thought it was a little hollow body guitar and didn't pay attention. I had taken a few axes home overnight that I liked but they didn't make the cut. Somehow I finally noticed this guitar and took it down off the wall. The neck had quite bow on it and the strings were crusty with string mung. I tuned it and plugged it in, I fell in love with it. I took it home and to practice that night. I intentionally kept it out of sight, the case is just like the Guilds, when I finally picked it up and plugged it in no one noticed for a couple of minutes. It was hard to play but everyone was impressed with the Les Paul like sound on a guitar that didn't weigh 60 lb. I changed the strings, adjusted the neck, put in a new battery, cleaned it thoroughly and here we are. I'm 73 and have arthritic hands and don't play anymore so some guitars need to go.
