I purchased this guitar brand new off the shelf at Paragon Music in Omaha, NE in early 1992. It had been sitting on the wall for about a year, priced at $1500.
It is a pre-Samick guitar and has Seymour Duncan JBJ pickups. The body is sugar maple, the neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard and 22 frets. It has a Schaller Floyd Rose bridge and a Kahler locking nut.
I played this guitar for years - giving guitar lessons and gigging with bands, but now it is played privately in the comfort of my own home.
It has no modifications, but I recently took it to a luthier in Charlotte, NC (Andy Wood at Low Harmony Guitars) to have it professionally reconditioned, and he did an absolutely stellar job with it!
It holds tune perfectly… I can literally play it every day for weeks on end without having to tune it.
