This Valley Arts strat has survived the dutch musicshop fire at feedback The Hague who imported valley arts around 1990-1992 to Holland . This VA was found hanging from the ceiling from a water and fire damage store in the south of Holland , and I knew it was mine the minute i saw this one surrounded by smoked and burned marshalls, voxes, gibsons, fenders and other burned valleyarts guitars. It sure smelled like fire and smoke and the place was crowded by grabbing musicians and dealers.
Never heard of VA before but I just knew this one was mine , took it home and cleaned it up , all black paint was burned off the tuners and hardware , but it would still play. Took the neck off and it was unbelievable straight ! I sprayed the body white myself as the old finish had turned to yellow burned hendrix color. I replaced the EMGs with pickguard for another pickguard for which i made a jig , for dimarzio , Sduncans.
